Veronica Orazi is a Full Professor of Spanish Literature and Catalan Literature at the University of Venice. She is a corresponding member of the Institut d’Estudis Catalans, Vice-President of the Asociación Internacional de Teatro del Siglo 21 and of the Associació Internacional de Llengua i Literatura Catalanes. Her research focuses on medieval and contemporary Spanish and Catalan literature, particularly theatre, and on literary translation. She was awarded the Premio città di Monselice per la traduzione letteraria – Sezione Leone Traverso and the Premi Serra d’Or de Catalanística.
