Dr. Antonio S. Almeida Aguiar
Doctor in Psychopedagogy, lecturer in the area of Theory and History of Education at the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Member of the European Committee of Sport History and the European Network for Studies in Sport Sciences, his main line of research is the history of physical education and sport. He has won the City of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria Research Award (2005) and the Antonio Lemus del Moral Research Award (2009), and has been distinguished by the Sports Press Association of the Canary Islands. Co-author of the book La formación en el arbitraje deportivo (2021).
