Presentation

Pere Darder Vidal

Degree in Philosophy. Doctor in Educational Sciences. Emeritus of the UAB. Within the framework of the pedagogical renewal movements, he began his professional life promoting the affective dimensions in what was called integral education, in teamwork and in the establishment of empathetic relationships in the classroom and in the educational centre. It was a long, intense and rewarding initiation into teaching and management in primary and secondary school. At university, the broadening of teaching and management experience, the deepening of scientific discoveries, individually and in groups, and experimentation in educational centres have strengthened in him the need to extend the emotional dimensions to education and all areas of life. Personal relationships have been presented as an omnipresent, necessary and indispensable factor for individuals and groups. Most of his publications and experiments have been devoted to deepening empathy, participation, collaboration and the construction of a lifestyle impregnated with realism, illusion and affection.

Teacher. Specialist in Special Education. Dedicated to the study and application of emotional education in teachers and students since 1997. She has several publications on this subject. For years, her career has been oriented towards making educators aware of the need to be emotionally trained in order to educate both pupils and children. This principle has accompanied her in all her training activities - in advising primary and secondary schools, in courses, workshops and seminars and in parents' schools - presenting two-sided proposals: teachers/pupils, parents/children. Her educational content has always had this double aspect that converges in one objective: the development of happy, healthy, sensitive and responsible human beings with humanity and the biosphere.
